ConHex - Balls made of solid wood

a connection game for 2 by Michail Antonow

The success of this game does not depend upon coincidence or luck but is down to the more superior strategy.

Each players aim is to connect two opposite sides of the board with an unbroken chain of spaces of his own colour. Player A has won when he has connected the top and the bottom side of the board with each other. Player B tries to connect the left and the right side of the board. A draw is therefore not possible in this game.

It is also possible to play ConHex on the internet at [http://www.gamerz.net/pbmserv/conhex.html].

A computer game of ConHex that was developed at the University of Jena in Germany ( Mathematics Professor Dr.Ingo Althöfer ), was introduced at the Cebit in Hannover, Germany. Further information available at [http://www.althofer.de/cebit-2007.html]
