Moguli made from soid beechwood

a spacial and challenging tactical game
by Reinhold Wittig

This board game invented by Reinhold Wittig could one day become a real classic. Games that involve pieces jumping over other pieces have been existent for thousands of years - this game involves exactly the opposite.

35 beautifully finished wooden squares, each sized 6cm x 6cm are mixed together before each game and put together to make up the board. The fact that there are 2 different types of wooden square pieces makes the starting position of the game a different one each time.

The aim of the game is for each player to manoeuvre 4 of his 5 pieces onto his opponent's starting position. In order to move the pieces the player has to take the underside of the board into consideration - each movement requires the thought of descending and practically 'moving through' the opponent's piece.

Moguli is a very challenging board game. In order to enjoy this game to its full, it is important for each player to have a good sense of spacial imagination and the ability to be able to think ahead.
